The 2026 Summer Academic Conference of the Korean Society of Climate Change Research was held on June 25–26 at the Daeyang AI Center of Sejong University. In particular, on June 25, an international session titled “National Climate Change Policies in Response to the Climate Crisis” was jointly organized by Korea University, the International Committee of the Korean Society of Climate Change Research, and Tilburg University (the Netherlands).

This international session was the first internationally organized session held as part of the Korean Society of Climate Change Research’s academic conference. The session was chaired by Professor Suh-Yong Chung, Director of CGCMG, and featured presentations and discussions on climate change policies and related research from various countries (South Korea, Japan, Europe, the United States, China, and Ethiopia).​
